Advertisers are free to update their ad graphics at any time and may
include any number of images in their campaign. Live performance tracking

- Unmatched advertising value
Major online advertising sellers such as Google and Yahoo sell advertising on a per-click
basis. In other words, using their services you pay each time someone clicks on your ad.
Narrowly targeted Google ads can cost upwards of $1.00 or more per click. The cost of
a QRZ ad, calculated on a per-click basis is often at least ten times less than what the major
search engines charge. At QRZ, per-click costs are typically in the 5 cent range. This,
coupled with the extremely accurate demographic that native QRZ ads afford, makes our
value proposition unbeatable. Why would you advertise elsewhere for fewer eyeballs,
fewer clicks, and more money per click?
Advertising Mechanics
All of our ad packages include the Ad Manager features described
above. We accept most forms of payment and prefer direct credit card recurring
billing. All advertising must be fully paid in advance. A 15% discount applies
for any order of 3 or more units (either 3 months or 3 "slots", described below).
QRZ reserves the right to approve individual ads or advertisers at its sole discretion.
All QRZ advertising is sold by the "slot", which represents a "slice" or "portion"
of the overall QRZ traffic. An advertiser may purchase multiple slots to increase their
exposure. The slot price is the final price for your ad. There are no "per-click" or
"per-impression" charges. Your cost is the same regardless of either how many times
the ad is shown or how many times it is clicked. QRZ does track and report the total number
times each ad image is shown and is clicked for your bookeeping use.
The total number of times your ad will be seen (a.k.a. "impressions") varies with the
overall daily traffic on the site. On heavy days, your ad will be seen more and on
slower days, less. The number of slots in rotation varies by the number of
advertisers and the number of slots each advertiser has purchased. For example,
suppose that 50 slots are in rotation on a given day and you have purchased a single slot. This
means that your ad will be shown 1/50 of the time, or, one out of every 50 pages.
If you have purchased two slots then your ad will be seen twice out of every 50
pages, or, twice as often.
Although having your ad appear once in 50 pages may seem small, the total number of
pages shown on QRZ makes it significant. Since QRZ will typically display nearly
700,000 ads per day, a single slot (in this example) would be shown about 14,000 times a day.
If you bought two slots, the number of showings jumps to 28,000 times, and so on. Again, these
numbers are approximate and vary directly with the amount of traffic and number of
slots running on a given day.
The total number of slots in rotation at QRZ varies on a frequent basis and is
not guaranteed at any level. Your ad exposure will increase proportionally, however,
with the number of slots you purchase.

QRZ.COM is directly targetable through the Google Adwords
network. With AdWords, you set the price for the ads which appear throughout the QRZ site and
have access to some of the most sophisticated advertising tools available.
- Top Rotating Banner Ads$100.00 per slot/month
Our top banner ads are perfect for small businesses and appear
in the upper right area of nearly all QRZ pages to the right of the QRZ logo.
These ads typically are shown approximately 8,000 to 10,000 times per day throughout
the QRZ websites. All top style banner ads must be 468 by 60 pixels in size and must have a total file size
not to exceed 32,000 bytes. Both GIF (including animated GIF) and SWF (Flash) formats
are supported. Any number of images may be hosted in your slot at no additional charge.
The 15% discount rule applies to either 3 or more months paid in advance
or to campaigns of 3 or more slots at once.

- Left Side Premium Ads - $995.00 per month
Our left side ads give the maximum exposure possible and are displayed in permanent, non-shared,
non-rotating slots. This means that your ad is seen on every page where left side banners
are used. The increased exposure for left side over the top banner ads is phenomenal by
comparison. For example, instead of your ad being shown 8 to 10 thousand times a day in a top spot,
expect up to 1 million daily showings with a left side premium spot.
Left side ads must be 115 by 90 pixels in size (landscape), may be either GIF,
animated GIF, JPG, or SWF (Flash). The maximum file size for any ad image is 24,000 bytes.
A 15% discount applies to left side campaigns of 3 months or longer. Volume
discount rates for longer periods are also available upon request.
